The Friends of Conway Animal Shelter, is a small group comprised of local citizens, that has recently been formed on behalf of the Conway Animal Welfare Unit.

The Mission of the Friends Group is to raise funds for the benefit of the animals at the Conway Animal Shelter. The goal is to use these funds to pay for expenses that enhance the animals welfare and quality of life, for which the City of Conway has not appropriated funding.

One of the group's primary and ongoing projects is sponsoring the disease testing, vaccination, and sterilization of cats and dogs for adoption.

All donations are tax deductible and a receipt will be sent to you for tax purposes.

Donations Accepted

The Animal Welfare Unit accepts donations of dry dog food, cat food, blankets, towels, food dishes, litter pans, dog houses, and most any thing else that can be used to make our shelter pets stay more comfortable while here. We have had young children give up birthday presents for themselves in order to have their guests bring donations for our animals. We are very proud of these kids. We have numerous citizens from the community bring us linens and food for our animals. These donations are so much help to us. We appreciate our citizens thinking of the animals here at the shelter. It is so nice to know that they are not forgotten.
